Rotary Microtome is a laboratory instrument which is widely used for the Microtomy in which sections of tissues are cut into thin slices. It is widely used in microscopy which allows for the preparation of samples for observation under transmitted light or electron radiation. It is provided with a sharp metal, glasses and diamond blades which depends on the type of the specimen and the desired thickness. Rotary Microtome approximately weighs around 25 kilograms with dimensions 460 x 500 x 300 (W x D x H) where all values are in millimetres. It is provided with a rotor to move the internal mechanism for the cutting applications.

The model has been designed keeping the view the user comfort for which the coarse feed wheel is kept close to the operator. The Microtome has a low maintenance precision microtome feed system and cross roller guides are maintenance free.
